James Vaughan-Jones
James trained at Tier 1 ranked media firm Harbottle & Lewis before joining Vice Media, where he was Senior Counsel overseeing the legal operation Vice’s EMEA, and later global editorial lines of business.
On the content side, James advises on production, clearance, and post-publication complaints handling in all media from broadcast, to digital, print and podcasting; from hard news to entertainment and branded/commercial; from UK productions to international investigations and commercial campaigns.
He also provides business affairs support, having advised Vice’s Studios and Pulse Films lines of business. He is experienced in handling development, commissioning, production and distribution paperwork for both UK and US broadcasters and streaming platforms.
